My church always had an age requirement, basically young adults. I pushed 
to get teenagers on the team. We had a boy and girl join 16 and 14. They 
were an asset to the team and we received very favorable comments from the 
congregation. I am going to be working up a new team guidelines and will be 
wanting younger children to join the team 10 years and up. Don't forget 
that this is the church of today and tomorrow. Having them involved in 
ministry is a lot better than what the world has to offer.

  I have been discussing this with Charity Dell. In black churches this is 
common. I will send you an email I received from her off the list (it is 
long). If anybody else wants this let me know.
