The advantage to having it on the last slide instead of the first slide is it signals the end of the song.  Our PowerPoint operators know this and do not advance automatically as they do with the other slides.  I can repeat whatever is on that last slide (sometimes it's the entire song) multiple times without special instructions.

And you get your graphics person to enter the CCLI song number?  I am still trying to get the author to appear consistently!  On the other hand, he does a great job with the graphics, so I shouldn't complain.
