[Worship] RE: Age minimum for praise singers?

I feel including the 10-11 yr. old girl in some special music would be
awesome provided she blends well with the team or is talented enough to do a
solo but I do not agree with adding her to the regular rotation as a praise
team member simply because many 10-11 yr. old children haven't yet reached
the age of discernment and couldn't grasp the service part of being on the
praise and worship team.  We have a 14 yr. old drummer and he is very
talented but lacks the spiritual maturity to understand that we are
worshipping and trying to exhort people to worship.  Unfortunately he came
in a package deal with our lead guitar and keyboard player and I have yet to
figure out a way to replace him without causing a great deal of hurt.  He
can also be pretty disruptive during rehearsals(as is my own 14 yr. old son
whom I've limited to doing special music.  Even though he's got an awesome
voice and plenty of presence, he lacks the spiritual maturity to be able to
truly GIVE himself to the Lord and to the people)because he thinks of the
rehearsal as a jam session.
