[Worship] "Come thou fount"

I fount the hymn very touching and thought we could
use it in our communion services.  i got the worship
team to first learn it before we taught the
congregation.  What i realised was that although the
melody was easy to remember, the lyrics were not. (I
believe the lyrics we are discussing are more of
imagery, which characterises many hymns). We have put
it on hold for now because i am still wondering if the
congregation can remember the lyrics although we
project all our songs from powerpoint. What i want to
know is how anyone of you has taught this song and in
which aspect of the worship service you have used it. 
Has anyone done it with another song(s)?
