Nick,
We have a partial list of what you are looking for. Go to our SongSearch at:
http://www.audiblefaith.com/music/dbsearch
You can search based on scripture. This list is by no means exhaustive. The
database is far more complete with the Indie material than with the
Integrity/Vineyard/etc songs, but we do have quite a few songs with
references there as well. We simply have not had the time to work out all
the info. Any volunteers?

Hi all...
Simple question here. Is there a website or a resource that lists the
Scripture texts for the new praise songs, esp. those which have come out in
the last five years?
I know that the Praise.Net's Database site has a search by Scripture
option, but it's not up to date. And CCLI.Com does a search by text, but
that's not good enough for what I'm looking for.
I think the easy thing to say is to hold your nose up in the air and state
that today's songs are too emotional and personal to be explicitly
Biblically-based, even tho there's nothing anti-Christian about the songs.
And I know it's easy to pick specific songs and say where they came
from--(Matt Redman's Undignified from 1 Kings, Chris Tomlin's Forever from
Ps 136). I own some of the Passion music resources as well as
SongDiscovery series, and they don't seem to have a Scripture index. I
also have the "The Source" vols 1&2, which do have Scripture indexes, but
it doesn't list the verses on the actual song page, which makes searching
harder.
