Yes, they are in the public domain.

Not a bad question, actually.  The words (by Kate B Wilkinson) date from 1925,
so you'd figure they would be in public domain -- but then you have "Great is
Thy Faithfulness" from 1923 which is *still* under copyright!     Good idea not
to presume.

I'm assuming you don't have a hymnbook with the lyrics to "May the Mind..." ?
Because they should always include copyright notices where appropriate.   If
there is no note, it is note under copyright.        At any rate, when you're
wondering about an old hymn like this, a good bet is to check the Cyberhymnal
(www.cyberhymnal.org).    It doesn't have a lot of copyrighted material, but
includes any copyright notices that apply.
