I don't know of any videos - but I picked up Glen Caruba's "Afro-Cuban
Drumming" and was very pleased w/ it. BUT, after working w/ it, I
supplemented w/ a lesson from one of the percussion faculty at a nearby
university. I would higly recommend this, it is money well spent. I was able
to get basic striking techniques down w/ the right physical adjustments that
I don't think a video could have helped me w/ - and a book can only hint at.
If you work for a church, you could get them to pay for a lesson - somewhere
in the range of $20-25/hr.
