Absolutely, but this situation is almost completely avoidable, and it's not
necessarily God's command. This was a pastor's request. They might be the
same, but not always. This situation puts one in a situation where they are
deciding to either possibly violating an agreement they entered with their
employer (by working on non-work related tasks on company time), or saying
no to a pastor's request. In this light denying the pastor's request is
standing on more solid ground "Let your no be no, and your yes be yes"
unless the agreement with the pastor is that these types of requests are to
be fulfilled. What sort of testimony do we put forward if we spend company
time doing church stuff? That's not a message I want to send to any
non-Christian co-workers.

Are we "employees" or servants of the Most High God? Part of being a
servant is that we may be inconvenienced and taken out of our self and what
makes us comfortable and put into situations that stretch us.
Jesus is always there for me at a moment's notice - I want to be the same
for Him!!!
