[Worship] RE: Urgent Song Request

Portions of this thread have me concerned.  Forgive me as I have just read a 
couple of comments and not read each one, so I may have missed some important 
points. 
My concern is this:
When do we as servants, submission workers for Christ Jesus, decide when God 
is talking to a Pastor (on a non-doctrinal, non-Scripture related basis) and 
then base our decision of obedience on that?  

Who are we to not do what we are told to do?  I believe it is OK to let the 
Pastor know that we are really being stretched and we'll do our best with the 
performance end of it all, but am I getting the story thread straight that we 
have a place to rear up the head of rebellion?  If I am getting the story wrong 
- forgive me!  :-)
