I joined the Worship Leader's Song Discovery "club" last year at the
Saddleback Conference. I get the Worship Leader magazine and a CD with 12-13
pre-released songs on it. I am sure that I am not the only one who get's
this. I love the magazine and it's contents, but I am very disappointed with
the music that I am getting. It seems like everything is becoming more and
more complicated both lyrically and musically. We don't have a problem with
the music, but the lyrics are too much for most people to learn quickly and
be able to worship with.

I find it hard to get my hands on songs that are simple, Biblically based,
and are not sing songy. Meaty songs that people can sing during the week to
themselves during the midst of battle is what we need to be teaching our
congregations (IMHO).

Anyone else seeing the same thing? Where are all the good songs?
