[Worship] What is Praise & Worship?

Lately, the content on this list has repeatedly called into question our
definitions of praise & worship.

So I'd like to propose that we turn this thread into a little Bible study.

I'm asking any of you to share your thoughts on how the Bible defines praise
& worship.

I will start the ball rolling with this quote from C.S. Lewis, which seems
to dovetail Rick Warren's point in the "Purpose Driven Life" that says that
worship is for us to enjoy God:

"I think we delight to praise what we enjoy because the praise not merely
expresses but completes the enjoyment; it is its appointed
consummation." --Reflections on the Psalms
